Attendant//Fitzrovia
27A Foley Street W1W 6DY
Talk about repurposing! Once a Victorian era public loo, this small subterranean quirky coffee bar serves up caffeine and light lunch for you to enjoy at your own individual urinal foot of countertop. With free wi-fi and its welcome to linger awhile vibe, its a perfect spot to get a little work done. Plus the urinals oddly feel like cubicles.

With several locations in London, the small shop across from Borough Market is my favorite since it only leads to the logical conclusion of wandering through Borough Market afterwards and grabbing something tasty for lunch.

Quince Tree Cafe at the Clifton Nurseries//Little Venice
5A Clifton Villas W9 2PH
I love garden cafes! Sipping on a flat white inside a big garden conservatory with its airy, light-filled floor to ceiling windows, especially on a rainy day, puts me in a happy place. In summer, when the fragrant roses are blooming, a walk through the nursery is a must!

Peggy Porschens//Belgravia
116 Ebury St SW1W 9QQ
Ok I have to admit that I come here more for their uh-mazing cupcakes than their equally sip-worthy flat whites and delicious teas. This cute bubblegum pink painted confectionary delight of a bakery makes the best cupcake I have ever had in my life (which by the way is a TON of cupcakes, don’t tell my dentist!). Their banoffee cupcake is what sweet dreams are made of- banana chocolate chip sponge cake with a delightful toffee center all topped with banana cream cheese frosting and a slice of fresh banana. Yum!
Paper & Cup//Shoreditch
Cheap secondhand books line the walls of this friendly bright cafe with all proceeds going to the Spitalfields Crypt Trust, a local charity which supports people suffering homelessness and addiction. I’ll certainly drink another cup of Joe to support a good cause!
The Waterside Cafe, Great Boat Cafe//Little Venice
Warwick Crescent W2 6NE
London’s only floating cafe! Enjoy your cappuccino on a canal boat in the picturesque basin of Little Venice. Or if your sea legs aren’t feeling steady there’s also some terra firma seating dockside as well.

Duck and Waffle//City of London
Heron Tower, 110 Bishopsgate EC2N 4AY
Enjoy your coffee with a view! Sip away on your cup of joe on the 40th floor of the Heron Tower and admire the 180 degree views of London’s iconic landmarks along the Thames such as Tower Bridge, the Gherkin, and St Pauls Cathedral. Not just one of my favorite coffee places but also one of my favorite breakfast places as well. I rung in my 30th birthday here last week with a sunrise timed breakfast of Full Elvis Waffles (read all about it here). This new decade of my life is off to a great start!
Cabbi Coffee//Camden
