Welcome

Hi, Dan and Danielle here! We made the big move from California to London back in 2014 and in living life to the fullest in our new city, exploring Europe and the rest of this big, amazing world we live in and collecting one postcard after another, The Postcard Travelers was created as a space for us to share our travel and life abroad experiences with others.

After three years in London, we made a brief move back to the States in Washington, D.C., before heading to a life abroad again -- this time in Lima, Peru.

Join us as we seek the scenic and adventurous life!

  • Can I be back in Colca Canyon basking in the heat of the dry, warm air again sipping on a refreshing Colca sour? 😎
  • Back to work today. Trying to be productive but wishing I was fearlessly ziplining across Colca Canyon again. Weeeeeeee!!!
  • We have found our happy place in Peru. The wild beauty of Colca Canyon is truly stunning. Looking forward to returning next year after the rainy season.
  • A morning soak is just what the doctor ordered! Getting up early and having the thermal baths all to ourselves was muy tranquilo.
  • It’s a llama, alpaca, and vicuña safari as we head to Colca Canyon near Arequipa.
  • Sunset over Arequipa with El Misti watching over it all. 🗻
  • Capturing the verdant jungle hills and the muddy waters of the Rio Huallaga while listening to the welcome sound of afternoon rain after several months in dry Lima. We are in our happy place.
  • Missing the sun and amazing cuisine from our weekend stay in Ica at Hotel Vinas Queirolo. A perfect getaway from Lima!
  • Wandering the cobblestoned streets of the old town of Mostar, Bosnia. Warm people, great food, and pretty landscape!
