As our life in London winds down to us counting the time left remaining in months rather than years, Dan and I are reminded that a lifetime wouldn’t be long enough to see and experience all of the wonderful places Europe has to offer, not to mention the rest of the world! The more we discover, the more we want to see, and our bucket list of destinations is forever growing. With our time living at Europe’s front door running short and our upcoming move date this fall (with final location still to be officially determined!), we are anxious to fit in as much as we can.
During our two and a half years here in London so far, we have done well at checking off quite a few cities and countries on our bucket list, visiting 24 European countries to date! This year is about crossing off our top-remaining-and-yet-to-visit bucket list destinations and experiences in Europe, visiting family in the States, and spending the last few months of the year exploring our new city of residence, wherever that may be.
Some highlights of 2017’s Europe agenda include the following: a history tour through southern Poland, a kayaking and camping trip in Norway, as well as joining Dan’s parents on a much anticipated Viking River Cruise along the Rhine River in celebration of their 50th wedding anniversary. And of course continuing to explore more of the UK and London on day trips!
Also on the year’s travel agenda is time spent stateside with a trip to Disney World in the fall with Dan’s side of the family and a trip back to San Diego to see Danielle’s family post-move from London while en route to our new home.
